Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 566 people, 259 households, and 148 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 141.0/km© ?(365.5/mi© ?. There were 1,012 housing units at an average density of 252.1/km© ?(653.5/mi© ?.
There were 259 households out of which 22.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.3% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.5% were non-families. 36.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.8% had someone living independently who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.86.
